Apple’s next-gen iPhone, the iPhone SE 4, could be developed with its own 5G baseband chips. This is according to the popular Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who recently made a statement about this latest news. It had been rumored for some time that Apple was having difficulty creating its own connectivity hardware for its devices. However, it now appears that these issues have been resolved and development of the device can continue. Kuo further pointed out that the chip will likely only support sub-6 5G and it remains unclear as to whether or not millimeter wave or satellite communications will be part of the package in this model.
If they are, then these chips could be deployed across iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches once they have been produced, making them ubiquitous throughout all Apple products. The iPhone SE 4 might also feature an OLED display instead of the LCD used in previous versions as well. For now however we must wait until an official launch date is announced from Apple regarding their new product. Until then speculation abounds as to what this particular device could become one of its most popular products yet! From improved connectivity hardware to potentially having an OLED display, it looks like whatever form this phone takes it should make quite an impact on the tech industry when released.
Apple has long been a leader in the tech industry, and it looks like they are poised to make yet another statement with their new iPhone SE 4. We can only wait until the official release date to see what this device will bring, but one thing is for certain: Apple’s 5G modem could very well be a game changer. Whether it be in the form of improved connectivity, or even an OLED display, Apple is sure to make quite a splash with their latest product. With its own 5G modem, the iPhone SE 4 could very well become one of the most popular phones on the market when it releases. We can only wait and see!
